Iballa and Guille revalidate their respective titles as Spanish SUP Waves 2024 Champions at Pantín beach.
The mythical beach of Pantín, in the region of Ferrolterra, was the chosen scenario to dispute a new Spanish SUP Wave Championship. Within the week in which the big national surfing events were held, it was possible to enjoy a new fight for the title of king and queen of Spain.
Monday, July 1st was the appointed day for the test that would crown the new champions of Spain. In a day where the waves went from less to more, and Pantín beach left a beautiful image, there was a close male final. Here, Carracedo imposed his surfing ahead of Manuel Hoyuela, Ivan Puente and Enrique Perez.
In the women’s category, Iballa Ruano would be the best of the surfers fighting for the national title. Julieta Rodríguez Villamil was second, Alazne Aurrekoetxea third and Alba Alonso fourth.
On the other hand, the juniors also left us a nice duel in the men’s category that would fall on the side of Enrique Perez Serra, new champion of Spain. The podium was completed by Iván Puente, Álvaro Coscollano and Álvaro Díaz. In girls the new champion of Spain would be Julieta Rodríguez Villamil.
